JFF didn't need an OC.

A big red flag for me is a HC that feels that they need to call the plays (offense or defense).

If his play call calls for throwing a dirt ball, yes.

Your wrong, we scored 6 points. Not one Touchdown. That's on the OC. Sure, you can blame Marcel and the rest of the offense, but there is no way any offense in the SEC should only put up 2 field goals, no matter how bad your offense may appear to be. It was CLEARLY a bad promotion.

Somehow the coaches belief Reed can turn it around and save the season. Not sure if Reed can't read defenses but he bails way to early half the time which leads to a lot of the hold penalties we get. The end of the season schedule will not be kind if changes are not made.

We are waiting. Are you saying Elko sold the boosters on Reed and money ball last winter so he's burned a lot of sweat equity? Similar to Sark at tu.

Until Elko's fever dream of Marcel being Lamar Jackson is over it isn't gonna matter who the OC is.

Kingsbury isn't coming back to college. I suppose we could money whip him but he has probably $30 million already in the bank.

Chip Kelly's offense is a blast at northwestern. Was incredible at Oregon. He has run various version over the years to fit with the NFL and even to Ohio State. I'd love to get him but he is getting to run his spread option at NW with no pressure and at a school that needs a schematic edge. Not sure he needs the money and headache of A&M.

There are plenty of experienced and creative guys out there and probably a few that have ready to go QBs to follow. Concerned we go get a retread and a low ceiling budget QB from a complete different system.

Reed's certainly been an issue but the offense has zero flow. Everyone and their grandma knows when it's a run play and when it's a pass play. The fact that Reed looked so confident 3 years ago against LSU with zero first team reps speaks volumes.

That is a direct lack of experience calling plays. I'm not taking any blame off of Reed. But part of an OC's job is to get his QB comfortable and confident.
