That's what often happens after people get paid. They have a tendency to stop trying as hard because they feel like they have finally "made it".

He's not inaccurate because he got paid. That's ridiculous. You can tell he's trying. He's just bad.

Towards the end of last season, teams had learned how to scheme against Reed. And their scheme to give him underneath throws while taking away longer routes and putting a spy back to contain him seems to work. Those underneath throws are how you make them pay for this scheme...but Reed isn't consistent enough. Over a full series down the length of the field, Reeds % catch up to him.
