I just can't see a world where the missing piece for any NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP team is Conner Weigman

Here's what I don't get. Elko gave Weigman a pretty short leash (rightfully so); why is it not the same for Reed? Why is he untouchable?

That's true at UofH not at A&M. I saw the same guy I saw at A&M during the Tech game. The athletes he saw in the SEC are better than he sees at Uof H

If he was still here, he would stink. But he was smart enough to leave and now he's better. Texas A&M breeds mediocrity, at best.

Connor also had an atrocious offensive line here.

He would have been light years better with last year's offensive line that Marcel had.

His game against Notre Dame was worse than the one Reed just had. It wasn't because of the offensive line. It was because he's a terrible QB. He's now in a league that suits his talent level.

Why does this ALWAYS come up? If we still had this guy, if we had that guy....bull***** Those guys couldn't hack the SEC schedule. Wiggy is in the Big Kindergarten Conference now, I'm sure Marcel would excel at Cougar High also. The guys who left A&M didn't do **** while they were here. Slyder Murray was concussed more than not, Wiggy was scared and King threw the ball to the other team more than our receivers. The fact of the matter is, we've had ONE QB who was capable of winning it all and he damn near did, but we all know that cluster**** of a story.

We have to stop getting these flashy, dual threat, over rated QB's and go get a game manager. The best QB the sips ever had was not even close to the most athletic. I'd take a Major Applewhite over a Vince Young any day.

You mean Crylar? Slydar Murray? He couldn't hack it in the SEC, he went to OU and excelled because the BigXII didn't play defense. When he faced Bama in the playoffs, he got shut down just like he did when he was here. -**** him and his dad.

Kyler Murray - Heisman winner, #1 pick in the draft, NFL Rookie of the year, starter for two NFL teams.

Yeah, he was/is quite the talent that was wasted at TAMU.

Weigman lost his mojo at A&M. He needed a change of scenery. I'm happy that he's doing better at U of H, but it's a stretch we'd be better with him now or even that he'd be the starter.
