I'm struggling to get to 7wins much less 8 with what we have seen thus far this year…still no offensive identity and our dline looked like they had roller skates on. Where are the amazing unique blitzes Elko has hung his hat on? QB was camping out back there

Nah, we will steal one from LSU next week after they have an emotional hard fought win tonight. We will pump ourselves up, win a few more easy games, get punched in the mouth by Bama, and limp through the rest with a chance to beat tu to lock in the 12th playoff spot. And Elko will come out to 110k screaming fans at Kyle and go scoreless. Reed will start in 2027.

That was our most winnable conference game outside of Arkansas

Yeah… I agree. The first two games both felt much worse than the score, and while I was hopeful we'd snap out of it today I also wasn't really surprised that we faceplanted.

I guess the only hope now is maybe the team responds well to being punched in the face? Not feeling optimistic.

Best bets are probably

Tenn, Arkie, Missou, USC - those are probably coin flips with the 2 on the road being toughest, IMO.

I agree. My best friend and I went to the game. It was embarrassing how we lost to Kentucky by double digits as a 16.5- point top 10 home favorite. I think we will lose home games to Tennessee and Texas and road games to LSU and Alabama. Before the season, I had expected a floor of 7-5 (4-5 SEC) and ceiling of 10-2 (7-2 SEC). Now, I think 4-8 (1-8 SEC) is the floor, and 7-5 (4-5 SEC) is the ceiling with swing road games at Missouri, South Carolina, and Oklahoma.

I think road games at Missouri, South Carolina, and Oklahoma are winnable because they all struggled in home games yesterday. Missouri defeated Troy 27-17; Oklahoma squeaked by New Mexico 14-6, and South Carolina lost to Mississippi State 41-34.
