Fire the strength and conditioning coaches. Bigger and stronger means little if you don't train muscle endurance. A smaller team just smacked us around and had their way with us. It's not close, we have more talent.

Doubt it had anything to do with the loss, especially since we ran 30 more plays than Kentucky. But training in the heat doesn't get you ready for the 4th quarter. Totally backward thinking. It's not an endurance sport, and even if it was, you wouldn't do it that week.

This is one of the poorest efforts I've witnessed. DBs letting receivers get behind them. LB rendered useless. No pressure on the Qb. Getting gashed against the run. Then on offense. A Qb that cant find the open receivers. Very poor throwing accuracy, Poor decisions on option plays. Running back that looks like he is running in mud and cant find the wide open holes to run through. Receivers that run poor routes. Oline that is not as bad as advertised, and last but not least a coaching staff that does not make changes when they are obvious, and fail to motivate and have the team ready to play at the opening kickoff. The 12th man needs to collectively voice displeasure with this team, as they deserve much more. At this rate the Citadel may turn out to be a close game.

My best friend and I went to the game. It was embarrassing how we lost to Kentucky by double digits as a 16.5- point top 10 home favorite. I think we will lose home games to Tennessee and Texas and road games to LSU and Alabama. Before the season, I had expected a floor of 7-5 (4-5 SEC) and ceiling of 10-2 (7-2 SEC). Now, I think 7-5 (4-5 SEC) is the ceiling.
