Every Ag has that one game they can still remember almost play by play.

For me, it's the 2007 TU game at Kyle Field. My family had season tickets when I was growing up, so I was there with my mom and dad, and that game has always stuck with me. Stephen McGee absolutely lit it up that day. In an offense that was usually built around the run, he threw for a career-high 362 yards and three touchdowns and helped lead A&M to a 38-30 win over TU.

With football season back, this has recently become a regular debate in the Frogslayer office. We're an Aggie-owned and operated custom software development shop full of Ags here in College Station, so everybody has a different answer. It's been fun hearing which games people immediately go back to and some of the stories behind them.

A lot of games start to run together over the years, but some of those days at Kyle, standing as part of the 12th Man, stick with you.

The Aggie game I will never forget was defeating the teassips, 42-10, my fish year in 1985 at Kyle Field.

This historic rivalry matchup was on a cool Thanksgiving evening, on Coach Jackie Sherrill's 42nd Birthday no less, which ended with cotton bolls and cotton balls being thrown around the stadium including from the third deck to the field below to signify the Fightin' Texas Aggies were Southwest Conference Champions for the first time in a decade and were heading to the Cotton Bowl Classic in Dallas for New Years Day 1986 for the first time in 18 years. That game was the loudest I have ever experienced, with the A&M faithful constantly yelling and waving their new 12th Man towels throughout the night, which early in the game caused the sip quarterback to come out from under center several times because he could not hear himself yelling out the snap signals.

My second favorite Aggie game I will never forget was the next game, when the Fightin' Texas Aggies defeated Bo Jackson and the Auburn Tigers, 36-16, in the 50th Cotton Bowl Classic on 1 January 1986, in my hometown of Dallas. During that game, Heisman Trophy winner Bo Jackson was denied the endzone from the goal line in the 4th Quarter four consecutive times, ending any chance for the Tigers to mount a comeback and sealing the Aggie victory.

Seeing Jerry LeVias playing for SMU on Kyle Field. Got to change from student seating to lower deck on about the 40 yard line.

1998 Big XII Championship in STL vs K-State, all but won by the wildcats, entertaining my KSU clients in a suite, sitting next to the trophy, champagne had been opened and they were making reservations for the national championship game, when the miracle of Sirr Parker occurred.

I was at that game and the first time we'd beaten the sips since 1968.
Great game with great memories.
Hard to believe that was over 50 years ago.

Showing my age (my seniority?), but the FTAB was in red stick when the Lex James-to-Hugh McElroy touchdown pass with 13 seconds to go won the game 20-18 in 1970. We learned the hard way about LSU fans - dodging bottles and being soaked in beer.

The team may have only gone 2-9 that year, but beating the ranked Tigers at their home was priceless.
