I know everyone wants to go out on the field and dominate all facets of the game for 4 quarters every Saturday, but that's just not going to happen.
One of the big advantages we have right now is the Moffit effect. Our strength and conditioning will help us win games as we tire out our opponents.
The other advantage we have is our depth that Elko has built. This is something that we've never really had. It's not perfect everywhere, but it's the best we've had in forever.
The depth and strength/conditioning go hand in hand, as we should have fresh talent on the field most of the game.
We're going to have to grind out some wins and this is how we're going to do it. Don't be surprised to see us start slow against Kentucky and pull away late again.
Hopefully this can play a role in November when it matters most.
