Ags open up -14.5 with a total of 48.5. Kentucky looked inept in the 2nd half so this looks about right.

Kentucky doesn't have the depth for 4 quarters. Thats actually one of our strengths

My concern about this game is we could be looking past Kentucky to LSU.
No question we have the better team and should be able to handle Kentucky with little issues.
Also, I suspect Kentucky emotionally is drained after the Alabama game and now have to go on the road to play.
That should bode well for A&M.

That's human nature, but I really haven't noticed this with Elko's teams over his two years here. He will have the guys' focus on the right opponent. Look at Kentucky yesterday - they were doing quite well, but as said, they don't have the depth to go toe-to-toe for 4 quarters against an Alabama, nor an A&M.

I like UK's two running backs, and I don't have confidence in A&M's DTs, particularly with Rink going down. I suspect UK will be able to keep it close through 3 quarters by grinding out time consuming FG drives, and limiting A&M offensively, like ASU. By early fourth, however, I suspect A&M's talent depth emerges and they're able to finish off a 24-13, 27-13 type game. I suspect a boring, but hopefully efficient A&M win.

I think the word was that Rink was fine after the game and should be able to play vs Kentucky. I think Kentucky has a better running game along with a mobile QB than Az State did but not as good with the passing game that Az State had. I think Kentucky's defense will be better than Az State so it will be important game for the A&M offense to show some improvement.

Uh oh! That usually means Rink will be "day to day" for 6-8 weeks before he medically retires.

Get the young horses the rock so they aren't really freshman anymore with a few weeks. We have to have the ability to have a couple guys who can bounce one when holes aren't open. . And show multiple sets .
