What's everybody got? Haven't listened to my Vegas guys yet but initial thoughts -

- The moneyline odds tell you all you need to know about both teams
- Our defense should be fine to hold a decent double digit lead
- 9 am body clock kick for ASU isn't great for them
- Kyle won't be rocking for 11 am the way it was last week for 6 pm kick on opening weekend

I think we cover fairly easily.

I like ASU to cover. They have a dangerous group of wideouts, and while A&M has a good to very good secondary, I'm not sure A&M has established an impact pass rush rotation. Searcy is definitely more of a run defender. Jones is an impressive athlete, but only a hypothetical rusher. Saka appeared a bit stiff. Henderson made splash plays, but there's a reason he's third string.

I think this could be a nail biter, with A&M holding a 27-21 lead late and A&M fans anxiously hoping Jones, Saka, or Henderson emerge for the backbreaking sack.

No confidence in Boley under pressure, Ags big.

ASU to cover. Refs will help ASU a lot also.

Arizona St scored 70 points last week, so will be encouraging if we cover. Their QB stats from that game were "365 of his 387 passing yards come after the catch", and his stats from last year for 4 games while at Kentucky were not amazing:

35-13 loss at South Carolina: 10 of 19 passing for 124 yards and two interceptions

35-14 loss at Georgia: 25 of 41 passing for 225 yards with two touchdowns and one interception

10-3 win at Auburn: 18 of 29 passing for 161 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions

45-17 loss at Vanderbilt: 26 of 44 passing for 280 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions

I don't like betting against my team. Don't want to give myself any reasons to split my loyalties.

This game makes me extremely uncomfortable. The only thing giving me comfort is ASU losing last season at Mississippi State with Leavitt and Tyson… getting App. State flashbacks where I believe we were 18 pt favorites vs 14 in this game. Elko is our coach now though…

Damn. I didn't know they played in London week 3. Pretty gnarly to play away at quality SEC school, then fly 10hrs, and have to adjust for another game in essentially 6 days.

Wait THEY are the reason it's an 11am game? I didn't know visiting teams had a say in anything.

14 feels heavy to me. Hope I'm way wrong. We really don't know much based on either team's opener.

Adding this: Az State's defensive line has a lot of snaps under their belt . Very experienced albeit maybe not all playing with one another . This concerns me because our OL does have question marks unrelated to lack of talent but rather just very little experience together. This is the key matchup to watch imo. When we do get holes we need to take advantage. This could be where the rb's with quicker acceleration could matter.

Good chance we run away with it. Let's see.
