This is the type of QB that takes a stacked roster like ours deep into CFP.

No doubt he is talented but you could have said the same for most week 1 SEC QBs except maybe auburn's QB…let's see how the season goes eh?

He's not slept on. He's a good qb w/ potential to be a great pocket passer.

A guy like Kamario Taylor is a great qb RIGHT NOW who is already an elite DUAL THREAT. When you're qb can hurt you with his arm AND his legs it's that much harder to defend.

Also you have to remember Kamario isn't coming to Aggieland and leaving his baby brother at Miss St. They are both Miss boys and will stay with their in state school, I would think. Be surprised if he enters the portal and if he does, I am sure his baby brother will as well and it will be a package deal

Let's tap the brakes and see how he does vs SEC defenses this season but he has a high ceiling and State fans should be excited. For their sake I hope he stays in Starkpatch his entire college career. The Bulldog fans deserve to have a respectable to good team now and then. Still think Lebby is an idiot, he gift wrapped the W for cow last year with his terrible 4Q game and clock management. State easily should have won that game.

Crazy thread? "Has his guys"?

For the most part, all the programs want the same guys… the best. If this QB is hard-working and good character, he's every program's type of guy

Hypothetically if he was in fact the perfect QB for A&M and would closest take us to the promiseland, would you still like for him to stay at Miss State out of empathy and "fairness"?

0% chance Marcel goes to the draft. Sadly, the only way he's not our QB next year is if we choose to move on, which I doubt happens. Would love to bring in someone like Taylor, though.

Kamario should be the guy in the portal. Add the best interior offensive lineman available as well. And if it doesn't work this year, poach the best offensive coordinator in the nation

Per 247 we were one of the ten teams to offer him but it says he only took three visits. UCF, Miss St., and Ole Miss. He committed to Miss st. In 2023 and we offered in 24. We were also heavy on Longstreet then too. Wonder if we pushed harder if we could've landed him. Definitely needs to be a priority to throw a bag at him if he hops in the portal after this year.

I disagree, its a business now. This is what the players wanted and now they are gonna have to live with some of the consequences. If we don't make sound business decisions we won't win at a high level.
