Same but been hearing TJ has had a helluva camp. I think it says more TJ and less about Saka...which is great from a DL room/depth perspective. I think our D-Line is going to surprise a ton of people.
What is going on with Bryce Anderson?
Really excited to see Chance Collins play. Hoping we can get him plenty of reps this year to get him ready for 2027. He has stud written all over him.

My theory is that Searcy is listed as first string since he'll be on the field in early downs to defend against the run, and then Saka will come in on passing downs to rush the QB.

Biggest disappointment is Terry Bussey being an "or" at all the positions he is listed. I really don't think this staff knows what it has in Bussey…. A WINNER.

Four running backs isn't enough. And no fullback is striking.

Losing Tiger was rough for the RB room. Brutal actually considering 2 of the 4 are true freshman. Really hope we can share the load to keep Owens fresh and healthy as we get into the back end of the season. I think this coupled with more 4 WR sets and using Bussey and ABR as runners via screens, sweeps, etc. will help protect overloading Owens and Morrow while allowing KJ and Baker to get experience.
And no way we were going to use a traditional fullback. Most teams don't. That was going to be Tigers role (short yardage back).

I am certainly rooting for Bussey in life, but I trust the coachign staff.

I think the "Or" with the TE room is a reflection of their unique skillsets. You have a blocker, a receiver/route runner mismatch, one that can do a bit of both, and an athletic freak. I see it as more situation dependent.

Love seeing so many old guys on the OL. You can't coach experience.
Almost all of the comments to this point are petty and/or just flat out ridiculous. Get over yourselves. The coaching staff knows more than all of you. The sooner you accept that, the better off you'll be.

That's absolutely not what that means.
Bussey will be on the field almost nonstop this season (especially if he balls out). He's not listed with the RBs, but you know he'll be in the backfield plenty..........in addition to him being split wide........and in addition to returning punts...........and in addition to returning kicks. The name placement on a random chart (as Elko explicitly addressed in his press conference today) is absolutely meaningless.
If you really wanted to be accurate, you'd change the name to what it actually is.......a "Media Assistance Chart."

Seeing Marco Jones as an unquestioned starter has me stoked. I think he's a future second rounder, at minimum. Been saying for a while that he has Shemar Stewart physical gifts, but appears to have actual feel for the game.

That's not a rumor.......just a continuation from last year (except likely much more in '26).
Another note about Bussey, I feel like his name belongs on the pronunciation guide at the bottom.

I disagree but understand the comparison on a physique level. Morrow is much quicker footed and has better change of direction. Bussey's biggest advantages have always been center of gravity, play strength, and straight line speed, but his hips are very stiff for a WR. Good to see Coach does not discriminate against the little people. If they can play SEC caliber football, good for them. Coach may have found a new pipeline of recruits when word gets out.

Worked for Indiana. Usually a good sign when almost every starter is GR or SR with a few JR's.
