I think uncovering for yells is stupid. Just the Spirit and War Hymn.

Current Aggies are not quite as interested in traditions which don't add to their comfort. It is doubtful they even know why hats were not worn in Kyle years ago. If they could make it a tradition, Mama would be there wiping the sweat out of their eyes.

This freshman class seems to be more into their freshman wildcat then the 07 fish. Just a small point.

I was at A&M from 1990-94. I wore a hat to every game. Uncover was stupid then just like it is now. Let's move on.

Respect for who? i usually didn't uncover because it really doesn't matter. again, respect for who?

You remove your hat during the Star Spangled Banner out of respect for the US flag and the guys who gave us our freedom.

i understand taking it off for the national anthem, pledge of allegiance, etc....

but taking it off for the person next to me during a yell?? i'm sorry, but i couldn't care less if the guy next to me takes his hat off during a yell. how does taking a hat off show repect for the 12th Man? and don't say because the person behind you can't see the passbacks. only a ten gallon hat would make a difference.

feel free to take yours off all you want. but i'd rather just yell with it on.

yes, take your hat off out of respect, then do a yell with a "curse" word, then next time yell "take off your f***ing hat" to the person that didnt uncover, but all of this out of respect...

i respect my neighbors in the stands by not being an idiot, not being too drunk to stand up, and not yelling a bunch of obscene things for the whole county to hear...

Yells do not deserve the same level of respect given to the MSC.

i remember someone hitting me in the back of the head during the fist day of fish camp and yelled, "take your hat off." mind you i didnt know the first thing about a&m at that point and had no clue about this uncover bull****. great first impression you uncover nazis make...

they should be doing the yell anyways...not screaming about a hat. you think the players care? i always think the ones screaming about taking off a hat are the ones who really don't understand the 12th Man.

The closest I ever came to fighting at Kyle was with an uncover nazi who was also a "Walton Loads" dumbass.

I was in Utah and stood around A LOT of old ags from 60's and 70's. They never uncovered...EVER during the yells before and after the game.

(except the war hymn and spirit).

Uncovering is something Old Ags made up to see if the stupid youngsters would do it.

It's the only form of hazing we can still get away with.

Aggie yells do not equal the The National Anthem. Uncover freaks are the same old get a life dorks.
