Moss had real injury in 2024 but it seemed like he took himself off the field in 2025 more than some NFL scouts deemed necessary. Coach Elko commented that he loved LeVeon but you have to play.

Moss lacked some understanding that a pay to play business demands guys that will play hurt.

I'm rewatching the Notre Dame game while on the treadmill. Moss BALLED in South Bend.

Btw so did Amari Daniels. No way we win that game without his pass pro in 2H.

I thought he had some mental issues he was dealing with… I'm sure exacerbated by his multiple injuries.

Injury concerns obviously. Did we not have the same? And it played out.

That being said, he ended up at a team that will need him and he will make the team if he stays healthy

Plying hurt and playing injured are two different things…

personally i think both moss and york shoud have come back. you don't jump to the draft if your a late rounder, with years left in college. i think they both got bad advice

that said i never saw anything with moss that didnt make me think he wasn't a beast. he ran lik a beast he was jus a bit unlucky. it happens. it happened to willis mcghee it happened with frank gore in college as well. but they both had great pro careers.

Didn't he have surgery on his foot during the 25' season? For what I remember, he got injured during Florida game and didn't come back until we played Miami. Perhaps he didn't want to really injure his foot, or was told that coming back would hurt the team. It sucks, because the year before carrying the team.

I don't think another year in College changes anything with their future in the NFL. Either you have it or you don't. York just isn't an NFL player. Moss, an extra year in college is another year's worth of damage to his body. He's had too many injuries and cant stay healthy.

Now, Moss, could cash in on another year at college. From a $$ standpoint, yeah, he should have stayed

He could have gotten some money but nobody will pay much for a RB that is always injured. Tough breaks for the young man.

These lower body injuries have really limited our RB potential the last couple years

I agree as well that both Moss and York should have come back, especially Moss so he could hopefully get a full season under his belt with no injuries. If pre-NIL then I'd understand going to the draft but not now since they can make really good guaranteed money for one more year.

Part of Moss's problem with not getting drafted was his top end speed. He ran a 4.61. Some people will say 'yeah but so and so ran a similar time and he is a hall of famer." That is the exception.

The one stat during the draft they put up next to a player's height and weight is their 40 time. If he runs a 4.45 or better then he is getting drafted. Just like if Bisontis runs a 4.9 or better he is getting drafted in the first round.

Maybe his injury hampered his speed as well and another year in college (barring no lower body injuries) gets him completely recovered to where he has more time to train his speed?

Agree

Only thing On York is seeing as how he was an iffy prospect on getting g drafted or not, he could have made some nice nil this past season had he stayed, then could have tried the draft next year

I get tgst he wants to pursue his dream, but there is no dream to pursue if no team takes him, plus he passed up on some nice money

i think you got tripped up by your own unnecessary use of a triple double negative. unless your point is that you saw something that made you think he was not a beast.

Moss could be a good player at the next level IF he can stay healthy imo.

Hip drop tackle needs to be illegal in college. There's good reason it's illegal in the NFL.
You already know, if its not illegal, there are *******s who will coach it and teach it.

Hey, I know everyone wants to move up in their career, no matter what it is. But I sure wish they would have stuck around for another year. They are both good Ags who spent their entire careers with us (which is becoming more and more rare these days). And they also seem like really fine young men.
