Owens as #1 woth Morrow as #2 and Riden as our power back.
And to answer your edit no, we were never heavily pursuing a RB. It ahs been the same strategy so far. A guy that can be short yardage with very limited carries
Thx. im guessing Owens has been training like a mad man since Miami and is on his way to transforming into that 5-star back the fans dreamed of.
I'm guessing about game 5 of the season we'll be wishing Elko would have paid Justice Haynes whatever his asking price was.
I'll do it now. Owens will be one of the bottom sec starting running backs, if he starts. I suspect Morrow will add maturation weight and recognition speed, and end up the starter. If KJ Edward's is model student and adds 15lbs without losing a step, maybe he gets there too.
Owens has some of the worst running back instincts A&M has ever had in a starting running back. He makes Brandon Williams look like LeVeon Bell.
