Even if you doubt their overall talent level, you can't dispute the fact that they are really well coached and just don't make mistakes or beat themselves. And Jimbo proved that talent alone doesn't win you squat.

I think it's both.

I think IU is just a cut above.

I think there is a cluster of about 10-12 teams after them that are all good enough to beat or lose to each other on any given day.

We'll see soon if Miami is in that 10-12 or up there with IU.

Ditto. They're freaking strong

which just infuriates me. Texas A&M. Oregon. Penn St. (I'm probably missing others). Schools that have invested heavily financially and emotionally in bringing their school a football natty for decades.

Just to have a nondescript, blah, basketball school do it in two seasons

There needs to be a rule that if your program is beaten in the playoffs by more than 20 points, you can't get an invite the next year unless you are ranked top 4.
