Now teams with BYES are 0 for 5. If this goes to 0-8 tomorrow it will be what it takes to go to 16 teams with no byes and no cupcakes. Get ready for 16 P4 teams with 9-3 being the cutoff for qualifying. And a squeeze in the schedule so that the final 4 are on New Year's Day and the title game is in the off week before the Super Bowl.

I am both happy for Miami and frustrated that it wasn't us there instead. Now go win it all Hurricanes.

If we had been playing like we were earlier in the year - maybe. But, our schedule was weak, and we lost to 2 of the 3 teams we played who were any good.


Wasn't OSU 1-2 versus teams that were any good? Why you not hold them to your same standard?

OSU would have run forever against us. Last two games we gave up over 170 yards per game to featured backs

11 games and flat ran out of gas..

Agreed. The formula is to find your run game against the Aggies and sack the QB. Miami did both and did the same against OSU.

These two mobile QB s are top drawer, Marcel is middle draw mobile QB.

This Miami loss sting and even now sucks big time because we had all the possibilities.

I can't get rid of vitriol directed at Klein as his OC managment was so aweful. As is dreadful QB play by reed.

IF we had just one competency in either OC or QB play that day, we may be saying something different.

Miami has the best OL and DL in the nation and have dominated their two playoff opponents up front.

Hard to say how we would have done but we don't have the OL and DL they do. Those two areas are dominating the post season for them, making life for all the other position groups a lot easier.
