You expect too much from these guys. They are the mouthpiece to the program. Will never ask the tough stuff so as not to alienate their "sources"

Reed had a lot of help…had no time to throw and an incompetent OC who called an awful game (again) that set him up for failure. Should have had him operating outside the pocket all day to negate the rush and take more advantage of his legs. Wouldn't put this all on Reed.

When your starting QB throws two picks (one in the endzone) + a fumble in scoring position it's hard to fault the HC. Not to mention Reed's other low, high & behind the receiver passes. He's a multifaceted underperformer.

There are red flags with Elko. Like why we keep an assistant WR coach but not a special teams coach. Even when the special teams seems to have a blunder every game.

Elko gets weirdly full of his team when the going gets good.

He was wildly erratic all day.
Complete the easy throws, let your playmakers go make plays.

The intended targets shouldn't need to be circus acrobats just to make the catch on a 10 yard route.

And when they have to significantly alter their stride just to catch it, it cuts down on their YAC potential

When the team moto was "finish" they just meant before Christmas so they won't have to grind any longer

Huge offseason for Elko, not too sure how to feel about it. If we don't win in the portal, might as well just look forward to 2027.

Reed was terrible all game. Hate to say it. Check downs....always behind the players...not opportunity to break one.

I dont blame anyone but if this staff doesn't pursue a transfer QB to make it a serious competition....I may start questioning Elko next year.

I do think Klein did NOT maximize Reeds strengths. And blame him the most.

Portal baby....we dont have too many huge gaps. Run it back next year!

Its fading if can't beat opposition in Nov and Dec when it matters on many levels. Yes better opposition later in the yr, but we talk we are ready and really have yet to show up in all phases when a big time game is needed.

Agree hard to do, but we will not advance as a program until we can really close out a season, make cfp and win a game or two consistently.

Losing to tu in the most important game of the year made this a difficult task w improper seeding vs UM who has more NFL talent than we do (win that tu game and we are easily top 4 and would have easier path).
