My wife had a heartbreaking miscarriage earlier this week that wrecked our Christmas travel plans 20 hours before we were supposed to hop on a plane. I told my family that an agonizing home loss would be the cherry on top of this **** sundae of a week.

That's good. That's what we want is a nationally recognized pattern of frustrating losses on the big stage. I think it is awesome you guys have branded BAS to our team. I think it really helps recruiting and team morale when we all sit around online and predict losses. It's like some crafty mental voodoo that being ****ty fans will actually help us win someday.

Nah. You did more than name it. It's a topic on pre-game shows and in New York Times articles. Our coach and QB have addressed it. Other than the Chicago cubs, I've never seen another fanbase wallow in it as much as this one.
Id worry more about their piss poor performance and how that looks to recruits over people on the internet pointing out said piss poor performance.
Performances come and go. Gleefully embracing this role as the pathetic, angry loser fanbase makes everything more difficult going forward. But maybe it all comes down to money anyway. I hope. If I had a choice between a non-self-loathing fanbase and a fanbase that revels in predicting losses at every opportunity, I know where I'd go,if the money is equal.

I thought BAS was dead, but boy was I wrong after seeing the product on the field today. BAS has deeper roots than previously thought. I don't think there's any kind of herbicide that could kill BAS. FML.

BUT, a perennial underachieving program, with as much money that has been thrown at the problem, along with how much being an Aggie demands, yeah, you are going to get some very disappointed people.
