All it takes is one team then all will start doing it but the schools need to start creating better contracts more favorable to the school


The players and coaches can't start their own league and shouldn't command such lopsided contracts

If Lagway is getting 4 million per year soon those contracts will escalate as the coaches contracts have now risen to outrageous standards

There is certainly a demand for college football much of it which comes from the loyalty to our schools but there is a plethora of players and coaches willing to fill those spots

There needs to be some consequences to breaking off contracts or non fulfillment

Seems inevitable that this game will become in fact what has de facto been for a long time. Pro sports.

I imagine we aren't too far from more formal contracts as soon as some parties get past admitting that college players are employees of a team. There will be a players union and work stoppages in my lifetime I think.

Perhaps an English Premier League type of game where some school/teams are relegated and others promoted.

And as long as it drives big handles for ESPN et and Fanduel, etc. the game will go on. It will be presented as college football somehow. It it will be what it is.

The money got too big and has devoured the game. Doesn't seem like anything can change that to me.

Lane and Tu are made for each other and I'm still praying that happens one day.
