We all know A&M has sucked when College GameDay is in town, but I didn't realize it was historically bad.

Did you know, of all the teams with at least 5 appearances, we have the all-time worst record at 1-10 or a .091 win percentage?

Honorable mention to BYU at 0-4 when featured and Okie lite at 1-8. Win and we are out of last place, boys!

Where are people seeing gameday will be in CS? On Herbie's podcast he said Gameday will be in Norman and call that game then he, Reece, and Holly will fly to CS to call our game.

The OU/Bama game is on Friday. Our game and all the others on Saturday.

Part of the reason our record is so bad when hosting gameday is because it only comes to College Station when A&M is good/pretty good and a #1-ranked type team is coming in.

It's not like we are 1-10 in games where we were favored 8 or 9 times.

My post from another thread:

I tried to Google home games with GameDay on campus and only came up with 9 games. And we were 1-8 in those games.

• 7 of those we were playing a team ranked above us
• 3 times we played a ranked team while we were unranked
• 5 times we were playing a team ranked 1, 2 or 3.

In games were we were the higher ranked team we were 1-1, beating #9 Tenn (we were #8), and losing to #7 Colorado (we were #3).

Average loss was 5.6 pts. Largest loss (twice) by 10 points.

Crap you already said it.....

This means that we're due! Law of averages.

Well at least it's not November. So, we got that going for us, which is nice.

For instance, I absolutely believe in the baseball gods, and I will not say the O word before a win in the supers. If that makes me stupid in the eyes of some, so be it.

I have baseball season tickets too and watch a lot of baseball both college and pro. I think it's all silly, especially when it prevents people from actually watching their team, but if you think it works for you then have at it. The truth of matter is it only works part of the time and when it doesn't, it's just forgotten, but when it does, apparently that's the reason why.

Bottom line is people just need to enjoy watching sports however they need to do it.

If any BMAs are on this thread, I have a suggestion: go find the finest Russian bot farms that money can buy.

Hire them to them spread every conspiracy theory about Gameday (e.g. they're smuggling arms to <insert party in controversial armed conflict on the other side of the world>, they're teaching our kids <insert controversial social-political theory>, they're a front for <insert controversial governmental or non-governmental organization>).
