With that said, I personally dont think Bama should have been selected. Would have preferred Vanderbilt even though Vama doubled them up. Hard to argue ND had a more difficult schedule.

I must've missed them going 11 and 1 and missing the playoffs.

The biggest "farse" was Bama staying at their spot after getting absolutely destroyed by GA. Total of -3 rushing yards.

Yet, BYU with more wins gets kicked out for their single team loss against Tech (2nd of the season).

Just proves the biasedness of this horrific CFP committee. They are making choices based on brands and TV rankings more than anything else and thats pretty clear. Embarrassing if u ask me and shameful.

Their argument is that if they had played Texas Southern instead of Ohio State, they would have been 10-2, and then they would have clearly made the playoffs. I'm not prepared to concede either point. Iron sharpens iron, and playing OSU almost certainly improved the sips. Had they played The Little Sisters of the Poor instead of Ohio State, they might have lost the Mississippi State and/or Kentucky game. And then there is the issue that their strength of schedule would have clearly taken a hit. But if they were sitting at 10-2 alongside Bama and Vandy, would the sips have been the one to make the playoff? Maybe. But right now, Bama is more of a "blue blood," and Vandy has the better Cinderella story. I think they likely still would not have been the fifth SEC team to get in. But we'll never know for sure.

What we do know for sure is they are embarrassing themselves on a national level right now acting like whiney tiddybabies.

He was complaining about playing 4 powder puffs in a row and blaming the SEC for unfair scheduling. Said most other teams got their easy games split up throughout the season.

What's ironic? If Texas had played SEC games immediately or closely following OSU, they definitely would have more losses. That 4 games easy streak allowed them to work out a few kinks and get Arch the much, much, much needed time to develop more. Kid couldn't hit a barn on half his throws during those powder puff games. It was a blessing for Sark.

But he is complaining and whining. So glad he is not oir coach. And been saying Sark may not last past the 2027 season for Texas. He certainly will not be OC.

Besides, had they not been gifted preseason #1 hype, 10-2 looks different. That's really when OOC games matter. If you are unranked and play top team on road it catapults you. If you are unranked and play Texas State it may jump you one or two based on other team losses that week.

Ironically we both have same gripe and same circumstance. If they had just beat OSU everything is different. Had Ags just beat a crappy 5 loss caliber Texas, everything is different.

Time to find whatever gap fit misses Elko constantly gripes about. (Like Jimbo " execute" and "find the inches"). Otherwise we will be 11 and 2 shortly.

Sure it was big game and attention for lots of reasons. Two top ranked teams, two blue blood, Heisman favorite, etc. lots of revenue from game.

BUT, zero reason to play that game IF objective is to make playoff. Agree with sip on this.

As ive noted before, if Ags play Southwest Directional Tech instead of ND and win by 50, where are Ags ranked in CFP? Answer: same place we are now.

Sips scheduled OSU because home games of: Kansas, KState, Iowa State, okie light, baylol, Tceh, purple baylol, etc... are very underwhelming.

We didn't play Ohio State, and we beat ND……..yet if we would have lost to Florida, we would be out as well.

It wasn't just the loss to Florida

It was the OT with Kentucky, and miss st and the 3 losses.
