Lots of SEC games, especially bama.

There is only one answer in all of college football. It does not matter the question.
Money.

And how much more money could college football make if the "powers that be" pushed more schools in order for them to become more popular instead of pushing the same 5 teams over and over again?
It's the same with MLB, the mouth breathers in the booths constantly pimping the Yankees and Dodgers and claiming it's "good for baseball" if only those 2 teams played in the World Series every year instead of trying to expand the viewership by marketing other franchises.

This is exactly what the powers that be are doing and it's working. See the playoff rankings-the committee bending over backwards to "push" Oregon(not even top 20 most watched), Tech(nobody watches), Indiana(nobody watches), others AND the overall viewership numbers are up dramatically over the past 3 years. THIS is their bias-to achieve variety across the country and conferences. If you want to know why we are being screwed with 1 loss teams ranked ahead of us? It's because the CFP will move heaven and earth to cater to the little guy pretending that their schedule is just as tough as an SEC schedule.

Texas has four that list and we have one…playing Texas…tells you ALL you need to know about why ESPN prefers them in the playoffs over us.A is A said:
So not many people saw us beat down LSU or beat ND
Basically just depends on how many of your games are on ABC for SEC teams. Sips got more than a couple of their bad games on ABC, which triples ones' viewership numbers.Jbob04 said:
Here's another one
eh, it's about who is playing on ABC and how close the game is. Like we demolished LSU too badly in that one by mid 3Q.greg.w.h said:Texas has four that list and we have one…playing Texas…tells you ALL you need to know about why ESPN prefers them in the playoffs over us.A is A said:

South Carolina at 4.15 million per game sticks out but that is a reflection of who they played this year. A good schedule = more viewers.
