I am fully prepared for us to be ranked 7th tonight. Here is why it will annoy me the most:

The committee said it did not matter when you lost, and they would focus on strength of record and strength of schedule.

There are five teams considered in the rankings for 3rd through 7th.

Aggies #3 SOR, #15 SOS in both Sagarin and ESPN
Oregon #4 SOR, #16 SOS in both
Georgia #5 SOR, #18 SOS Sagarin, #25 in ESPN
Ole Miss #7 SOR, #40 SOS in both
Tech #10 SOR, #69 SOS Sagarin, #59 SOS in ESPN

Objectively we have the best resume. I'd be ok with #5 behind Oregon and Georgia.

There is no way we should be behind ole piss. Schedules are not close.

And being behind tceh is a joke. This is where they will claim game control and efficiency. Why are they comparing efficiency stats against the 69th ranked schedule versus the 15th ranked schedule. That is not apples to apples. It is the exact same thing to me as using the old subjective "eye test" that includes too much bias.

You want to see an efficient game. Look at Texas A&M beating Miss St. 31-9. We out gained them 479-219. This same Mississippi St. team that beat the ASU team that beat Tceh.

Rant over. Sorry for the TLDR crowd. Yes we should have taken care of business against the sips. But I just want an objective fair ranking. Big difference between #6 and #7 tonight.
