And we only lost by 10 on the road. Should be able to fix it.

I knew the road game at Texas would be our toughest game of the year, but I had expected us to win that road game. Since the beginning of 2023, Texas is 18-1 in home games, including 10-1 in conference home games, and the only exception was a 30-15 loss to Georgia on 10/19/2024.

2023: 4-0 in Big 12 home games
2024: 3-1 in SEC home games
2025: 3-0 in SEC home games

Sarkisian made halftime adjustments and outcoached Elko in the 2nd half. Our defense allowed 285 total yards (128 passing and 157 rushing) and 24 points to Texas in the 2nd half after holding them to 112 total yards (51 passing and 61 rushing) and 3 points in the 1st half. Marcel Reed threw 2 interceptions on our final 2 drives as he tried to engineer a comeback.

This loss stings strongly, and it's up to Elko and his coaching staff to regroup this team for a first-round playoff game at home on 12/19 or 12/20.

The 3 and out orchestrated by our offensive genius, coming out of half time with a lead, put the brakes on any momentum we had. Then the LONG RUN on their first offensive play in the 3rd shifted all that momentum to them, which through panic and doubt into the minds of our players.

When that pendulum swings, it is VERY HARD to get it back.

Can't stand the shirt thing. My freshman and his teammates do it and I commented to him after the play. He brushed it off and said it looks good (it looks terrible) and therefore they play better….unreal these kids….ditch the stupid shirts

Wisner ran on us both years. He's like 175 pounds. Insane.
