does OU's Mateer just suck? How is their offense so bad? That INT was on him. I haven't watched closely enough to know if they're all his fault. It's amazing how big of a dud he turned into. Not remotely scared to play them in the playoffs or next year.

This! Sips are being left out because they lost to a horrible Florida team. If they hadn't lost that game, they'd be a lock for a playoff spot.
Does anyone here think we would get in with 3 losses? Like ever? Even if we lost to OSU, UGA and Alabama. Hell, we'd be lucky to be in the top 25.
I agree with your last paragraph.
But you can't possibly tell me if they schedule Kennesaw St instead of OSU and are 10-2 right now they would be left out!
I don't give a sh*t if it was a brutal loss. They aint keeping 10-2 sip team out. And yes they get favorable treatment.

As bad as Manning was in week 1, they probably lose that cupcake P5 game in your hypothetical.Onionman said:MaroonStain said:Onionman said:MaroonStain said:

I actually agree. They could have scheduled Kennesaw St like IU did and easily won that game and would be in the playoffs.
If you are going to keep them out then every team should just schedule cream puffs for non conf games.
Lost to Florida
No sh*t,
And Bama lost to a horrible FSU team.
I guarantee you a 10-2 sip team would get in. I don't care if it was a bad loss. They schedule a cream puff instead of OSU they would be in.

Maybe.
But if Longhorns didn't play Ohio State, they might not have been ready for big games. Might have lost to Oklahoma which was first time they faced defense with a pulse.

So our win over LSU (at night and on the road) looks better than sips win over OU on a neutral field.

I have NO problem with them being the highest ranked 3 loss team due to their scheduling.
But they shouldn't get to pretend they're a 2 loss team just because that loss was to tOSU.
If you're going to credit them for a close loss to a great team, you need to discount their nail biter wins (in OT) against MSU & Kentucky.
That game should (and does) put them in great shape vs 3 loss teams, but a loss to OSU is still a loss, despite tu wanting to be treated as if it isn't.
OU is extremely lucky they beat Tennessee and Bama. They're also a bit lucky they beat Missouri, Pribula was incredibly inaccurate that gameOnionman said:
OU looks like an Iowa team.
Fans need those shirts saying punting is winning.

Let's keep it up! We are really twisting up the burnt orange Zoo posters.

How is it possible that OU's offense is more feeble than LSU's? This is a painful game to watch.
