Everyone seems so sure we are winning this one and I am not so sure.

If we played their schedule we would probably be 9-2 with losses to OSU and UGA. They are 8-3. I think we would have beaten OU and Florida. Florida was a really bad loss.

They have a couple of good wins with OU and Vandy. We have one REALLY good win with ND on the road. The rest of our schedule just hasn't been very good... that being said we did win them all.

Manning is WAY better than he was early in the season.

UT had a couple games in which they were terrible but still won in MSU and UK. I'm not really sure why they were so bad those games. Before you think this means much, we also had a couple of games we sucked in Auburn and Arkansas.


Overall I think these teams are a lot more evenly matched than what everyone is saying here and they are at home.

Spreadsheet ag was right on with this one, it will be tight.

They aren't bad. Look at results vs common opponents tho as well as stats. We bring our A game they won't win. We bring our B/C game they can win.

This. If both teams play their best, A&M will win. If the A&M team that showed up the first half of South Carolina shows up against the sip team that played OU, we'll get rolled. If both teams that played Mississippi State show up, A&M will have it locked up by the third quarter. It comes down to which team shows up tomorrow.

No one with brains says they're bad. We're undefeated and favored by only ~2 by Vegas. And I think our team is very good, but I'm only about 51% confident we win.

I don't know if any team in SEC can be considered bad and a no brainer win. They all have the ability to win any given week vs any team. Up to us to go and win it!

I agree, OP. We have a higher ceiling when we play well, but if we don't play a clean game (which we've rarely done this year), they can beat us.

Well, beat sip and we shall see how good Georgia is. Then, hopefully the Ags get to see osu in the playoffs to see how good they are as well.

No one is saying tu is bad, the point people are making is their defense is not elite, and Manning doesnt do well against teams with a good pass rush. A&M pass rush is the best in the SEC. Ags tackle well this game and sip will struggle on offense. If they don't, it will be a dog fight.

Manning looks better because they're letting him throw quick screens to guys like Wingo and letting them work in space. Also, he looked great agains Arkansas cause they played My Pillow soft zone and the texas WRs just sat in the gaps.

If you watch Manning he still does that fake ass Mahomes sidearm when he's on the run or under pressure.

As for the defense... Craver and KC going for 100+ yds each.

I'm still not convinced tOSU is even any good. Georgia would have been a handful though.

Confident? Yes. We're the better team (on paper at least) so we SHOULD win. But the better team on paper doesn't always win. Only the better team THAT DAY wins.

We will be undefeated after we play both GA and OSU in the playoffs and then we'll know for sure what the comps will look like

We matched up even better vs USCe and we barely survived. Those comparisons don't necessarily mean much. Especially in a rivalry game like this.
