Yes, app is showing 88% Friday night in Austin. Day is 25%.

Interesting, just looked at it and it showed 87% for Saturday night but 25% for Friday. But also, weather apps are highly unreliable this far out.

This would favor us heavily. Our run game is one of the best, theirs is one of the worst

That's overnight.....game time shows a high of 62-65 with 20mph winds and a 25% chance of rain.

So many people don't seem to know that when you are looking at an app or seeing a forecast summary online that they are forecasting for a much longer window than the 3.5 hours during which the game will be played. Throwing out that there is an "88% chance of rain Friday night" is not very helpful if that rain is going to occur after the game is over. It's like one of those YouTube click bait video titles.

Frankly, the weather people will tell you it's too far out to know accurately with regards to timing. For what it's worth, I like the Weather Underground app, as it will show you chart that gives you a better visual image of what's actually going to happen and when:



So, if this turns out to be accurate (and it won't be totally accurate), we would start the game in dry conditions but have a good chance of seeing rain at the end. If the timing moves back just one hour, then it could be dry the whole game. If it moves up an hour, we could have a line of storms move through in the middle of the game. It seems likely that rain will move through Austin Friday night or Saturday morning, but we just don't know right now what the timing will be.

It's too early to tell. No one can predict weather very accurately 2-3 days out. Broad trends maybe, but that's about it…

No, we don't. We struggle with giving up big plays. There is a difference.

Personally don't think Accuweather works. My wife uses it. It's never correct and not only that is wildly different than other apps anytime I compare.

I used WeatherBug for a long time, great UI on their website especially for rain, then they changed their UI to stack days vertically. Ugh, terrible!

I moved to Weather Channel which was marginally better.

It's at tu so the field will either be dry or wet depending on what favors them more. Bring all the cleats and/or snow shoes.

If you're not using Weather Underground you're doing it wrong.
