So a few things I have noticed about sips.

- They struggle to run
- They like short confidence booster passes thanks to side-arm-sally
- They get points on busted coverages when Arch has 4+ seconds in the pocket.

The counter. The biggest threat is the long ball. Keep pressure with constant blitz packages. This will result in Arch occasionally breaking free for 15-20 yard scampers, but the benefit is avoiding the ball getting behind the defenders. Further the more pressure you can get in the pocket, with his mechanics the more likely for a tipped pass (INT), not to mention the plausibility of strip sacks.

There isnt much that can be done to limit the dink-n-dunk stuff except try to jump routes, but we dont excel in forced TOs. Our secondary needs to focus on timing and tackling. You cant let a 8 yard pass turn into 30 because you tried to arm tackle the receiver.

My concern is that our DBs are very handsy with WRs and refs have let them get away with it for the most part. I'm not convinced they'll be granted that liberty in Austin

I've watched these podcast experts, many who've missed all year doubting A&M.
Some have submitted but others are still torn because they don't want A&M to beat Texas, go undefeated, or become a Top Tier program. Naysayer predictions are based on hope that TU will play their best and A&M will play like 1st half of SC (repeated over and over). I'm torn between thinking it will be a close game or A&M runs away with it.

A big deal is being made about Arch throwing for 300+ yards on Arkansas..
TU was forced to throw the ball, because they couldn't run against Arkansas.
How many times did Arkansas D Line get their hands on Arch only to let him throw a pass or run down field. A Defense that's #115 in just about everything was getting their hands on Arch! What could TU change, in 6 days, that would allow them to handle A&M's seriously upgraded defense, specifically pass rush?

A&M does a lot of shifting and changing up before the snap, TU struggles with shifting Defenses. A one dimensional offense won't be successful against A&M. TU's plan will be for Arch to get the ball out fast, unlike Arkansas our DB's play tight down field. There will be PI calls... A&M should makes some interceptions however. If TU can't run, A&M will have more time of possession, possibly a lot more.

A&M Grabs 4th Gear and plays a complete game Offensively & Defensively!

Ags win 34-24. I think we get a defensive turnover in the 4th quarter from arch. Probably a sack fumble or int.

There's no reason to think we can't get there with four. That said, our guys should blitz and heat up Arch anyway. He looked fantastic last week when everyone was wide open on every play. Arkansas DBs popped some expired queludes before kickoff.

I think we're better than texas this year. Hope they play like it.

tessus hasn't run the ball. Against anyone.

Make them a one-dimensional team.

Get them into 3rd and long, and watch Arch make mistakes.

When he's pressured, he makes poor throws. He's an average SEC QB.

Recent trend for SEC games has been we blow them out when the spreadsheet calls for close ones. Looking forward to that continuing
