Yes, coach Vaught won a shared Natty in 1960, and his name is on the field, but Kiffin's effect would far supercede him given that there's no such thing as a shared title anymore. Not to mention it was 65+ years ago.
It's not in him to stay in one place. Plus, I think his ego wouldn't be satisfied with winning at Ole Miss for the long-term. I think your points are 100% rational, though.
