I thought Elko was overly hard on him given these were his first game reps since September. He's played well in previous games. I am excited for him to take the reins whenever Marcel moves on to the NFL. O'Neill has prototypical size and a live arm, and he can run it decently well. Overly hard? You realize if Reed gets hurt Miles comes in right? Amongst a tu game, SEC championship, or CFP game. I hope he got IT out of his system yesterday.

You do realize Elko being hard on him means Elko believes in him. If he thought he was a lost cause, he would not coach him as such,

Reminded me of when a kid on the baseball team hits a hone run and the next batter is swinging for the fence and strikes out.

I thought on that first deep ball he threw the official got in the way of our WR about 2/3 way through the route or that might have been caught instead of intercepted. You could see it when they later showed the replay from an end zone angle. His arm looks promising to me. Writing him off at this point is ludicrous.

The flashbacks are giving me major anxiety pangs.

I was at the game yesterday. Miles looked much worse in person. There were several plays were receivers were open but he just didnt throw. Maybe timing is off. On the interception he had 2 guys open, he waits, waits, and then throws a floater. His passes looked dead.

And I was really excited to see him play and expecting him to light it up. We may be in trouble if Reed gets hurt.

My gut tells me that he probably won't be the starter after Reed. If we want to continue to be a Natty contender, we need an elite QB. I'm sure Elko undersands this.

I thought he always looked good before

He has been used sparingly through out the year but he hasn't really been tested as he hasn't been in that situation. I want the guy to succeed. He kinda reminds me of Corey Pullig and Connor Weigman. Both were big guys but Pullig was a better runner (sp)?
