Now that tessus is back! How high do they move up after beating the piggies? Do the subjective voters move them up 5 spots or more?

Sip will move up to 14, passing Vandy bc of the head to head. Ignore BYUs result tonight bc a win over us would justify moving passes both BYU and Utah. But unless there is justification for hopping Alabama or Notre Dame they are first team out.

Utah comeback was huge. There's one team the committee AKA ESiPN can't justify their golden child jumping

They aren't passing Vandy.

Nobody and I mean nobody overrates Texas like Texags.

The committee just this week said they would put a premium on head to head. They can't put them next to each other without putting Texas ahead or backtracking what they said.

They move up to 3 as we drop down to 4.

It's looking like the only way Texas could get in front of the non-automatic Big 12 teams is for Utah to beat BYU and then lose to Tech.
But as far as the Big 10 they should be locked in at 3 if Michigan loses to OSU. The ACC should be locked in at 1. Assume ND is in by virtue of not getting beat by Top 30 Pitt/USC.
The SEC will get 4-6 depending on how the Big 12 finishes and OU/Vandy play out.

Utah already lost to BYU 24-21; the holy war was back on 10/18. They only have Kansas left on their regular season schedule.

Doh! You'd think I'd do even a basic Google search on skeds before throwing an opinion out there.
Going on the attack not much AI journalism out there right now but would a 2 loss BYU team that picked up its 2nd loss in the CCG be in over 3 loss Bama/Texas teams or a 2 loss Vandy? (Assuming Bama loses to Auburn - otherwise the Tide are pretty clearly in).
Probably so. Absent huge upsets of Tech or BYU next weekend the BIg 12 is putting 2 teams in the playoffs league even if OU beats LSU. Michigan beating OSU could shrink the field too.

Except that this is a discussion board about college football and that was the question OP asked.

So
Does not mean we need to waste time discussing stupid questions.
