I'm sure he's a good kid, but I don't expect to see him on the team next year.
Edited a typo. Sorry to the dork who was offended.

In the NIL era… I'd want a team like A&M to have some upperclassmen with experience as QB backups
Not necessarily. Look at Texas' backup or Jacob Zeno. Lots of mid major starters, with no chance at a pro career, who'd take 75-100k as a grad transfer to backup at a major program, particularly if they get a grad assistantship.BCR said:Demo_Slug said:

Good upperclassmen QBs want a chance. They don't want to sit.

These are some pretty big conclusions coming from just a few series.

Yep, think that was a failure between the ears, which set Elko off. That can and will be coached. But I come from the camp that respect has to earned, not given. Wish he had a chance to have more reps this year going into the playoffs. Tough time to cast so much doubt on your #2.Bill Superman said:
He wanted to make some big plays and got too aggressive. No reason to pull the plug on him forever. Even though he might pull his own plug first.
Of course not, but he's just one example a lot of folks might know.13B said:npc said:BCR said:Demo_Slug said:

Did you think Zeno outperformed QB2 or 3?

Brady Hart looked pretty good. Just needs some reps. Hes young.

If he had that good of arm, he wouldn't have underthrown what probably would have been a touchdown.

There's a lot more involved in throwing a deep ball than just throwing it as far as you can.
