If so, did anyone think that missed FSU field goal was actually good? They showed it from both directions and it looked good both ways, barely but good. Is that not reviewable?

I thought it was good. But it's FSU, I don't care.

I think field goals are only reviewable when the ball does not go higher than the posts.

I agree, doesn't affect my weekend at all, just thought it was odd. Funny how a 5 and 5 FSU doesn't get the calls they used to. But then again, I thought it was good.

Came to the game, watched for 2 minutes, and went back to Gutfeld.

On a different note but Aggie Football related because it involves 3 points; Ags BB beat Manhattan tonight and set a single game 3 point record by a player for A&M. Rubn Dominguez went 10 of 14 for 30 points.

They cant stop the QB run even though they know it is coming, pathetic, over and over. Norvell is as good as gone!!!

After not running a play for 30 minutes due to fumbling back to back punts, NC State went up by 10. FSU drove into FG range, and kicked on 4th down from 51 yards. What I was watching was the facial expression of the FSU players. They knew the kicker was gonna miss. They knew they needed to leave the offense of the field. That entire program is just one collective eye roll. It reminds me of exactly what we saw under Sumlin and Fisher.

Florida State outgained NC State 383 (203 passing and 180 rushing) to 286 (152 passing and 134 rushing), but they lost the turnover margin 4 to 0 and missed 3 field goals. As a result, NC State improves to 6-5 (3-4 ACC) and clinched bowl eligibility for the 6th consecutive year.

What is ambiguous about this play?

If the punt returner 40-50 yards downfield got hit in the helmet with the ball and the kicking team recovered, would you do a "what the heck" when they are given the ball at the spot of the recovery and a first down?

If not, what's different? Team B (receiving) touching the ball beyond the neutral zone (LOS) makes it anyone's ball. Doesn't matter where on the field.

Where things really get strange is when the punting team (Team A) recovers a punt behind the neutral zone, touched or untouched by the other team, and gets a first down. I've seen it where the ball got kicked into the helmet of a lineman (team A), came down, was recovered by another offensive player, and ran beyond the line to gain.

First down, offense! (I've also seen a punter kick the ball straight up into the air from his end zone and the receiving team catch it in the end zone! Touchdown!!).

I was saying don't kick it! It was a 51-yard FG and only 4th and 4.

You have to go for it in that situation. Everyone could feel he was going to miss.
