Knowing what we know now, where are you spending your money...Choose only one:
DKR - A&M vs t.u.
ATL - SEC championship
A&M home playoff game
Quarters:
Cotton Bowl
Sugar Bowl
Semis:
Fiesta
Peach
Championship: Hard Rock Stadium in Miami

This is the great delima we're in.

No on DKR
No on SEC championship
No on home CFP game (only because of schedule conflict)
Yes on quarterfinals if Cotton Bowl
Yes on semis and finals.

All in except for games on Dec 31…traveling back to US that day.

My private jet can take me to any of them. Only question is how many flight attendants do I bring along.

Hard rock stadium in Miami is such a ****ty stadium. Should never be a national championship hosting venue

Bought my SECCG tickets after the after LSU game. I knew we stood a good chance after seeing us takeover DV.

If it somehow doesn't pan out then, I'll relist and probably make some money for Christmas.

Win win.

But also…

Just win baby.

If conference commissioners weren't receiving benefits, there would be no reason to have Bowl games host quarterfinals and semifinals.

Outstanding regular-season play should be rewarded with hosting playoff games.

Flight attendants? Weird. Must be some woke ass plane running on biodiesel.

My G650 runs on literal jet fuel. My crew includes stewardesses in skirts who make excellent craft sandwiches for me and all my guests.

Quarters and final for sure. Maybe semis but most likely not.

Sugar.

I'm a season ticketholder. Have been for 10 years but apparently I don't have enough points for the SECCG.

If we host a first round the 12th man has already told me I will have my seats.

I'm as red ass as they come but can't stomach $3,000 per ticket for the natty. Thats obscene. I know people will pay it though.

Have had tickets for SEC Championship for quite sometime now.

I will consider the Cotton or Sugar Bowls due to proximity. If we get a home playoff game, definitely trying to get seats for that.

The Natty is a no brainer in my opinion. Just think of all the money you've saved over the years by A&M not having any meaningful postseason games

I'm planning air bnb's in resort locations with fellow Ags for game watching.

Ags are about 2-10 in big games I travel to watch. I think it's me...it's better if I stay away.

National Championship. In-laws live in West Palm Beach, but have a reservation at Trump Int'l Beach Resort just in case.

So this choose one really bit me in the @ss. I had know idea everyone had an infinite amount of money and days off right out of Christmas break.

So we have no DKR, some ballas going to every game and some that actually respect the exercise.

So one more time I ask, only one game, cant get money back, where you going, for the common man?

First round home playoff game. Would be an amazing atmosphere. But would rather have a first round bye. No to Jerry World, just do not like going to games there. Maybe on Sugar Bowl would surely go to the National Championship game!!

If we win and go to SECCG, what sideline will be A&M? West?

What would the total cost be if you wanted to go to all of them? That would be crazy amount of money.

With a win at DKR, there's SECCG in Atlanta and a first round bye. Lose and no SECCG but first round home game at Kyle. Either way then potential 3 rounds of playoffs. So 5 total games.

Cost will be heavily dependent on personal travel cost, whether you can drive or leverage miles/points for airfare/stays.

Being able to get the tickets thru 12th man foundation versus have to go on third party resale will also likely be cheaper, but you don't get a say in the seat selection.

Season ticket holders would have paid for Texas game back in spring so that's a long ago forgotten cost I think it was about $225/seat for upper deck.

The national championship game will be by far the most expensive, resale $2000+ for upper levels. I would think quarterfinals or semifinals will be much less. The current price on SeatGeek for Fiesta and Peach Bowls (semifinals) has tickets in the $200s which is less than many people pay for a home game at Kyle.

How good of tickets do you want ?
How many are in your party ?
Bad tickets at tu start at $600
Are you driving or buying plane tickets ?
If so from where ?
Downtown stadium adjacent 4* hotel , Hampton inn at the edge of town or do you have in-laws that are near the venue ?
How many days off from work ?
What do you value a PTO at ?

Eachmof these adventure start at about $ 2,000 and
The sky is the limit

Let's say 2 people from Houston and would fly to any location outside of Austin, College Station, Dallas or New Orleans. Not counting food & drink. Assume pay cash for airfare/hotel - no points.

This would be on the low side, but not as cheap as you could go. I may be way under estimating cost for tickets (haven't priced them, but thinking $750/ticket for tu, $1,000 and SECCG and $500 for early playoffs, $2,000 for NC

  • tu game - $1,500 - 2 tickets and gas. Drive there and back with no hotel, or stay with a friend in Austin
  • SECCG (Atlanta) - $4,500 - 2 tickets, air fare, hotel (2 nights), rental car or Ubers
assume 1st round bye
  • quarter final (Sugar Bowl, New Orleans) - $2,500 - 2 tickets, gas, hotel (2 nights)
  • semi-final (Atlanta or Phoenix) - $3,500 - 2 tickets, air fare, hotel (2 nights), rental car or Ubers
  • NC game (Miami) - $7,000 - 2 tickets, air fare, hotel (at least 2 nights, maybe 3), rental car or Ubers.
TOTAL - $19,000

If I could only go to one, I think New Orleans would be my choice.

Going to all is too rich for my blood and I generally like better tickets and splurge a little when I travel, so could easily spend more.

Already have flight and accomodation. Waiting for a friend who says he has ticket access.
I will be there.
