2) AU int (nearly a 90+ yd Pick 6)
3) Whatever that bullsht was yesterday

Go heavy jumbo / power-I / tush push in GL situations!! Man TF UP!! Kiffin & Swole Miss GO HEAVY ON GOALLINE & I respect it....No doubt that A&M has more GOONS on the roster to do the same.

He seems to lose his creativity inside the 5. Cost us the game last year vs the sips.

I can think of a couple of plays where he was too creative

Sir! The play where the running back passes to the QB in the weak side flat behind the line of scrimmage is a play that not only is creative, it is a play that nobody would have ever thought to be run.

What happened to Power T on short yardage?

The mighty Dawgs scored a TD yesterday with a direct snap to the RB at the goalline.

I remember when we ran the I-formation successfully under Jimbo. That's what you do with the goal to go on first down.

I saw Ole Miss running that JUMBO formation in short yardage. Florida was hopeless against it. Having Lacey back there helps too.

I thought the same thing during the game.
This formation worked very well for us, but haven't seen it in a few games now.

He was a Heisman Candidate QB, he should know how to put the ball in the endzone.
I certainly don't have confidence in our ability to run up the middle, anytime, not through the A gap.
Maybe we should try a DL or LB at Fullback.

1st and goal should be renamed 1st and Klien much like 3rd and Chavis

Last year sure, but not sure how you can say that wasn't a "creative" play call yesterday. So creative it almost cost us the game.

Double TE look and run the toss sweep. Get the tight ends on the DBs or LB and run it down their throat.

Elko took over defense play calling this season. He needs to take over the O play calling on 3rd and 2 when they are just trying to put the game away. Yesterday and the Auburn game were unnecessary potential disasters.

Simple solution: Get a penalty and move the ball outside the 10

The way Boedecher(sp?) trucks people, put him in the backfield on goalline.

As other teams have done, I'd love to see us put one of our DTs in the backfield as a lead blocker.

It shouldn't happen again. That was just a flat out needlessly stupid play call that could have cost us the game !

No doubt it was a horrible call, Elko admitted it and took ownership of the debacle.

I can't help but wonder how it all went down. Basically Klein has +/- 15-20 seconds to get the play called. I assume Elko hears the call through his headset, does he or can he ever overrule Klein...he would basically have to call a timeout? I also wondered if this was perhaps our designated two-point play should we have needed it late in the game or in OT. Fortunately we needed it, but didn't "have to have" it to win the game.

This or as a fullback actually carrying the ball. Find out what 300lb D-lineman has the fastest start and practice with him carrying the ball.

From this formation you can also run a RPO and have TE's block then run curl routes to the corners. TD every time.

If we get goal to go, we score. I don't really care how we do it. Prior to this game, we had been really good at converting goal to go into TDs. We should have run the ball before Bond missed the field goal, and the 4th quarter play call/execution was bad, but we don't have a goal line problem.

Understood. You put your order in for no more bad plays. You should check with the coaching staff to make sure they understand your request.


Here's a perfect example. On that 70 yard bomb to Aston Bethel-Roman he acknowledged in the presser that he ran the wrong route and we just got lucky. If you threw out all the plays where someone did something wrong the game would be over after the coin flip.
