Wouldn't have been an issue if KC had caught the TD pass. There was lots of blame to go around the first half.

So the team has been relying on him to successfully kick the points to win

We're not exactly alone. Did no one watch Louisville last night? Two different kickers missed the winning field goal for them.

And Bama's kicker isn't exactly having a great year either.

Probably a lot harder than it looks.

Saban's Alabama program had notoriously inconsistent FG kicking. I guess this is a sign that Elko's A&M program has now arrived

As I type this, just watched Bama's FG kicker miss a 36 yarder and they are saying he has struggled a lot outside 30. I guess if Bama vs A&M matchup happened, FG kicking issues would be a PUSH.

Quit his job.

Went to camps and practiced relentlessly. Guy really got after it and took a big chance but went all in. Now hes possibly the greatest

Too many times people say take the points on 4th down (meaning kick the FG). But there is no gimme with Bond.

With Bond you have got to be more aggressive and not settle for FGs.

The fg attempt from 45 (early) was insane. The odds of going for it and making it were about the same as making the fg. I think that was a big momentum boost to USC when that got screwed up.

Bond went 0/1 FGs over those 2 games.
