This isn't a 3 deep stacked Bama team anymore. Beating them doesn't mean much. In a few years, it'll mean even less.

Bama did itself in today.

And I can't believe the announcers have the nuts to keep discussing Simpson for the Heisman.

This outcome is bad for Texas. So I like it.

I like how the announcers were sayin Bama with 3 losses (Iron Bowl) cannot get in but last Tuesday night tu could still get in.

Good result for Reed's Heisman chances.

Bama still holds the tiebreaker for getting into Atlanta if they beat Auburn. I'd rather play them than Georgia.

Beating Alabama means A LOT. Particularly beating them in T-Town.

Reed is not winning the Heisman

I think I overstated my point. This is just beating a good (great, whatever you want to say) team on the road. NOT beating Nick Saban's Invincibles.

Are you sure they are going to hold the tie-breaker? It is pretty complicated when you have multiple conference teams with a single loss. Georgia, Ole Miss, Bama, and Texas all have only one loss right now. Of course one of Georgia and Texas will have 2 losses after today.

Now if Georgia will do the world a favor, this will be an extra amazing football day.

If Georgia wins Alabama is still ahead of Ole Miss and Georgia due to conference opponent win percentage. Same for if Texas wins out. I don't think there's enough games for Georgia to leap Alabama in opponent win percentage.

OU @ Bama is as good a road win as anybody has this year. As good as Bama winning at Georgia or A&M winning at ND or Indiana winning at Oregon. That was an elite quality win by Sooners.

Did a few more scenarios, for Georgia to get past Bama you'd need a 3 way tie and for chaos to happen. Vandy and Missouri would have to lose multiple games.

This is all so complicated. I'm glad we're winning out so we don't have to do tiebreaker math!

It will come down to scoring margin, if they both win out.
