I haven't had a chance to watch much more than highlights of games, but it seems to me that every time there's an explosive play that is not Bussey, he is delivering the key block downfield for one of the other receivers. At an extraordinarily consistent level. I just don't think he gets talked about enough for this.

KC is one of the best blocking WRs I've ever seen

Even when he doesn't have the ball, he manages to find a way to stay Bussey

I totally agree. whether clearing out an area to allow KC or either tight end to get open, then following with a block of the nearest defender, TB seems always to be there.

maybe Reed will throw to him once in a while also.

All the receivers are exceptional at blocking. It's similar to the 12/13 receivers

Same questions along with him being a 5 star recruit with little production. I know he is a sophomore but... Why is he still on kick returns? No metrics or measurables.

Probably learned it from sub-zero. That dude was nails on downfield blocking.

Say what? He's 2nd in the conference in kick returns at almost 26 yds/return

Bussey is integral to what is happening with the other receivers. He must be respected for his ability as a wr and does a fantastic job blocking. He might now be going for 10 receptions for 125 yards but don't kid yourself, he is a key component for the offense and for the receiving group being so much more explosive.
