I do not have proof to send, but for the past two years, I have been sports casting to my family. I have come extremely close to the correct score on numerous occasions. For this, you will just have to take my word for it, because I'm not going to send screenshots of texts between me and my family members. My win-loss predictions have only been wrong 3 times. Those games are Notre Dame, Auburn, and USC. All of those were just last year, my first year casting. My family has been telling me that I need to get into sports casting because of this fact, and because they're tired of me only talking Aggie Football lol. For this reason, I decided to try to practice my breakdowns here. If you have any criticism and or advice, please reply. Also, my username is just after one of my favorite movie characters lol.
Missouri:
Prediction: 38-12
Actual Score: 38-17
Summary: The game was a defensive battle for the entire first half.. Neither team could move the ball very consistently, nor when they did, the drive would stall out. For this reason, the score was 14-0 going into the half, with the second touchdown coming because of an incredible play by Samford and Brooks. In the first half alone, we had 4 punts. To put that into perspective, we punted 5 total times against Auburn. However, even with that, we wouldn't punt again for the rest of the game. We would only have 3 drives not go for a touchdown in the second half, one of those being turnovers on downs, another being the ABR fumble, and the last being a field goal. That field goal drive was the drive that featured an incredible fake punt. The game was a very Elko era style game; we wore the other team out to the point that we could do whatever we wanted to them. This team is a team that goes out and handles business; they play for each other, and they have bought into Elko.
South Carolina:
Prediction: 31-15
Why?: Throughout the entire season, our Achilles heel has been our run defense. Or more specifically, a QB who can scramble and make plays. Our game against Arkansas is the most notable of this. Our defense did not play as badly as the score would lead you to believe. However, Green's ability to escape the pocket and buy time is what led to a shootout. While we had a lot of misfits, Green was the entire reason the game was competitive. Our d-line was consistently bringing pressure and getting into the backfield. South Carolina just fired their OC, and they are coming off a bye week. They have absolutely nothing to lose, so they will be looking to try and derail our season. South Carolina may hold the lead at some point during this game; do not be surprised. LaNorris Sellars destroyed us last year, a lot due to poor tackling. I expect us to win handily, but do not panic if our defense struggles at first. Elko has magic when it comes to adjusting.
This was very wordy, so I apologize. I have been working on my casts not being so long, but right now, they are still decent reads.
