He is starting to play like a faster Moss and we need it. Smith and the frosh are contributing at a high level just in time.

With Moss graduating I would like to see a slightly bigger back paired with him for next year. I like Morrow but would like to keep him as a third for a season more.

Where was Daniels? He's got a role too.
I will no longer discuss politics with you. I reject your premises and world view. I am finished trying to compromise with you.

Was he injured late? Looking like he was favoring his shoulder

First play on offense second half ALMOST was an exact replica of Moss last year to start the second half. Gave me some good feels.

The running backs look great.

He is a beast.

I'm impressed with all of our RB.

And major props to the OL.

Owens looks heavier now. He will be the big back with the speedsters assisting. I would bet he is 220-222 next year.

Don't forget Riden. Have heard good things about him on the scout team.

Trooper Taylor has done an incredible job coaching up his backs and is one hell of a recruiter, one of Elko's best hires.

Owens is starting to round into form

He runs hard and is much more decisive than he was at the start of the season

Dude has more power than I thought he did

He's starting to look as good against college defenses as he did against HS defenses. I remembered how he popped off the screen with back then and ge stood out today.

He definitely has bulked up and looks much stronger and sturdy.

He got hurt last season so that set him back. If you watch his highschool highlights he burst through holes and wasn't hit much, I figured it would take a bit for him to get use to getting stuffed. That long TD run he had was a good sign that he has developed and ready
to be a top SEC back.

When Moss gets back we'll have the best RB room in the country.

His vision still sucks, but it seems Trooper and Co are grinding on him.
In high school he could just outrun people after either 1 cut or already having a crease and straight-lining full tilt.

Although yesterday he made a cutback that gives hope. Best read of his college career so far.

He outruns his blockers a lot when we pull….he isn't a patient runner, waiting for the hole to develop, but is getting a little better every week. He is great on the outside though with that speed.

Owens looks like an elite back now. Great combination of size and speed and he's starting to run with more power now too.

Yes, true, but I have seen him run behind blockers (like Zuhn) a couple of times and he gets upfield. Like Quinshon Judkins used to do at Ole Miss. Owens picks up decent yardage when he does that...

Although Moss may be ready for the Samford game (and maybe S. C.), Elko should hold him out until the tu game. We have enough firepower at rb with the other 4 guys (Owens, Smith, Morrow, Daniels) for the next two games. We'll need Moss at 100% for tu (and beyond)...imho.
biglebowski
How long do you want to ignore this user?
Would love to see Moss get about 5 or 6 carry's against Samford. Just to get a little more acclimation. Get a heavy dose of the backups.
