I think this is a bad match-up for Vandy. They like to run the ball and the sips defense against the run is the one thing they are really good at.

Additionally, Arch Manning may not play which bodes well for the sips offense. I personally think Caldwell is most likely the better QB.

sips favored by 3 points. I think they win by 10.

Who you got in this one?

Vandy. Texas will lose the rest of their games and finish 6-6.

Seems like it will be decided by who turns the ball over and who plays better on special teams. Don't see either team getting much separation.

I hope you are right and I am wrong on this one. I'll be pulling for Vandy.

I think it will be really close. I give the edge to the tsips at home though. I think they're going to lay some hat on Pavia. Their D line is really good.

That said, I hope they lose by 50 points. F the tsips forever.

Texas will win this game, probably a close game, but one that they get away with a big hit or two on Pavia, while getting the benefit of a big call late.

I suspect the refs….err, I mean, the sips….will win a close one.

Vandy defense won't have film on Caldwell, but I wonder how much of the offense Caldwell can run. I don't think tu scores much. Vandy by 5.

Vandy will smack sip if the refs allow it.

Sips are stout up the middle but look for Vandy to gash them outside the tackles. Sips can't seal the edges. Vandy will control the clock on the ground and limit the sippers # of possessions.

Sip will win in Austin.

Vandy was tied with Bama at the half. The second half was what did them in: they ran only 27 plays and had drives end with 2 punts, a pick, and 2 drive stalls (on downs and end of game). Meanwhile, Bama scored on all their 2nd half possessions: 3 FGs and a TD, basically in garbage time.

I think if Vandy would scheme to come out in the second half with some new looks, get a few first downs and a score, they have a great chance to not only win but win big. I don't think they're going to give up 24 late like Kentucky (oops, Ole Miss) did.

Caldwell is at his fourth team in five years. He has played QB for other college teams. There is film out there.

hate the sips but would love to see Caldwell throw for 400 yards and 5 TD to see the Arch hype train burn a little brighter.

Even on limited practice? I think he practiced a little alongside Caldwell on Wednesday and a little on Thursday?

That is what they think. They don't know for sure and are not saying definite but do lean that Manning will be a go. We'll see.

This is not earth shattering news but there will be a series of questionable calls on favor of the sips that gives them the win.

Note that the latest public SEC athlete availability report that the horns had to release has Manning as Questionable - which by definition I think means a coin-flip situation.

This game is basically pick'em. If Pavia plays smart they can win. Similar game to when they lost at Bama. He makes similar mistakes they lose.

We shall see what occurs.

Kentucky allowed just 16 points total, including only 3 points in overtime. Mississippi State allowed 24 unanswered points after taking a 38-24 lead with 12:29 left in regulation.

I picked Texas to win this game in the ESPN College Pick'Em because they are playing a home game for the first time in 42 days and their first SEC home game of the year. But I won't be surprised if Vanderbilt beats Texas in Austin.

I anticipate that AM won't play, tu will win, he will sit the rest of the season, and then transfer.

I may be completely wrong.

SC shut down Vanderbilts run game, and vandy racked up passing yards. Their rushing vs passing yards are fairly balanced most games, but they are capable of fielding an air raid offense.

Vandy is the better team with a much better QB. They can still make the 12 team playoff with a win and another win vs Tennessee. Our best case scenario for Saturday is a Vandy win, Florida upsetting Georgia, and Ole Miss losing to South Carolina. This would leave the Aggies and Bama undefeated in SEC play and Vandy as the only 1 loss team behind us. Bama still has LSU, OU and Auburn on their schedule.

No matter what happens Saturday, there will be 2 undefeated SEC teams and 1-3 teams with just 1 loss in conference remaining.

In their last two games, cow has had to go to overtime to beat two bad teams. Vandy is not a bad team. I like their chances.

I hope Vandy wins, but tu's back up QB kills it.

The meltdown over there will be GLORIOUS

I wouldn't call Miss State bad. They beat ASU, went down to the wire with Tenn, FL and the sips. And UK gave Ole Miss a close game but you can call them terrible for an SEC team.

It looks like the outcome will come down to who takes care of the ball better and who performs stronger on special teams.
