Hat's off to KC!

It is known that he has a stutter he's working through, and I thought he did really well there, especially in his first for TV after a game.

It says a lot about a person's character to step up, practice, and do something tough that isn't one of their natural gifts on such a big stage.

George Springer had the same issue and worked his butt off to overcome. He also works with kids with similar problems, just a stand out guy. I think the world of both these athletes.

So proud KC is an Aggie.

Yeah, I noticed when KC was describing his return and kind of got stuck for a second Reed jumped in and said "And then you hit the burners!" And KC smiled and said "Yeah, I hit the burners."

Had the chance to meet KC after a spring practice this year. The kid was awesome, super polite, respectful, and just seemed filled with joy.

I didn't know he had a stutter and couldn't hear what they were saying but it seemed like there were some pauses while he was talking. I don't have a stutter but I also don't have the balls to stand in front of a camera and someone with a microphone in my face on national tv and answer questions. That's pretty amazing and inspiring and makes me like him even more than I did before.

My 11 year old stutters. It's cool to see athletes he looks up to who've dealt with the same thing.

Appears Elko and company are recruiting and portaling kids with not only ability but character. That's how you change culture.

I couldn't hear what Holly or KC were saying because of the fan noise. But I loved when KC and Reed took off running to join their teammates sawing them off.

It's been close to 12 hours. You probably shouldn't watch any more highlights today because in another 12 hours I think you're supposed to go see a doctor. Aggie football fans normally don't have that condition this late in the season so you may possibly be patient zero.

The apocryphal story of Lester Hayes' recruitment was that RC met up with Lester Hayes in the bleachers for an hour. Neither one said anything. This convinced Lester Hayes to come to A&M.

Moments like KC interviewing a national TV, allows me to reflect on the fact that these are still 'student athletes'. Although not in the traditional meaning, but still young adults learning how to become leaders in our world. Texas A&M is molding them and leaving an impact the same way it did in my life. And that's what makes college sports so damn fun.

Great job KC! This is the model what a 2025 student athlete and Aggie is all about.

Aggie great Lester Hayes had a bad stutter and was reluctant to speak. Then he overcame it with therapy, and nobody could get him to shut up.
