If he's a serious candidate, it means that Penn State's frustration with Franklin had a lot to do with low scores. I could see them thinking to bring in an offensive guy, and hoping that the right assistant hires and recruiting will help the other side of the ball.

I don't see Clark leaving Vandy. He's an alum and former player. He's al legend now and has helped completely reshape their athletic department. He signed extension at the end of 2023 for 5 years and I believe is getting a pretty competitive package ($3.7 mil this year). With Vandy being private, not 100% sure.
