10/25: LSU -> night game at Death Valley; they are hanging on by a thread; full desperation mode, which will be challenging. This would be the right time for us to play that "complete" game on both sides of the ball...

11/08: Mizzou -> at their place. They play fast. QB (for the most part) makes good decisions. Their RB (Hardy) can be a stud, but has limited yards lately, including yesterday's Auburn game...they get Vandy at Nashville (this week - 10/25). Could be interesting....

11/15: SC -> If there was ever a game to go full on "step on the throat" and exorcise any demons, it's this one. Like 2nd stringers should be starting the 3rd quarter....Sellers should be sacked 10 times...

11/28: tu -> a fish QB from KY jelly U put almost double the numbers up compared to Arch. Their run game is horrible. Yet, a rivalry game. So, throw it all out, and they'd love to play spoiler. Worse, it's a must-win game for us to be playoff eligible (yes, I know they are a rival). They also get Vandy....

Do we think we'll need some help? I expect UGA to destroy the 'horns. If yesterday is any indication, I can't see any different. I'd like to see Vandy stun Mizzou, and honestly, SC sneak up on 'bama.

LSU worries me.

We absolutely HAVE to win one between LSU and Mizzou. I think we handle SC and Samford at home so that would set us up at 10-1 heading into Austin. Absolute worst scenario would be losing both of those and going into Austin at 9-2 with our playoff hopes on the line in a road rivalry game.

LSU will be very very tough. Brian Kelly will be coaching for his job, night game at Death Valley, haven't won there since Bill Clinton was president, all the negative vibes. Things going in our favor though: this offense seems to be really clicking, and oddly better on the road, our defense struggles with mobile qbs and Nuss is absolutely not that. If we stop the run and consistently get pressure then we have a really good chance.

Mizzou scares me as well. It's a team we have always overlooked as a fanbase throughout our history and yet they always seem to tag us with a loss. I think our team is different this year but who knows. That one is going to be a shootout and it will come down to Marcel making plays again. I do like that we have a bye week going into it after playing 5 straight SEC games.

tu's offense absolutely sucks. Arch sucks. They should've lost to UK last night, will definitely lose to Georgia. But they have a defense that will keep them in the game. Anything can happen in road rivalry games, and if things go the way I think they are going then they'll be trying to spoil our SEC championship and/or playoff hopes. This is a game where Marcel has the opportunity to breakthrough and set himself up to become an A&M legend.

They all worry me. Each game for different reasons. Yet we keep winning them.

The only thing that worries me about Red Stick is the officials fearing for their safety leaving. Go up on them early and they'll be too busy raising money for BK's buyout to give a **** about what's happening in the field

By the stats LSU appears to be a better version of the Florida and Auburn teams that A&M has already beat. Pretty good defense, mid offense. It's going to be another fight, but if we get another good game from Marcel I like our chances. I'll be curious what the spread is here, but A&M may end up favored.

At this point if you win your last 2 home games (Samford, South Carolina) that gets you to 9 wins. Still need another road win somewhere to get to that 10 win threshold. Man, I hope it is this weekend.

I would be surprised if our guys lose against more than 1 remaining game, and the only game that seems like a real possibility of losing is LSU.

Death Valley with a head coach thats on the ropes is dangerous.

Petrino can coach man. I know... I know Defense. Petrinos offense is no joke. I was worried about this game. I love how many weapons we have. Someone has consistently stepped up. Smith was running hard! Bethel Roman is a man! Put these together with the known dudes and we are a tough team to beat. A team will have to play the entire 60 minutes and get some breaks to beat us.

Just for fun here is the tu schedule the rest of the way and how it may help us in the end.

At MISS STATE - that could be a loss.
At Vandy - Loss
At Georgia - LOLOLOLOLOL
Arkasas at DKR - Arky Fans "Help me Bobby Petrino your our only hope." Push. It could go either way by this point in the season. Petrino may get them rolling. If he hangs 30-40 on tu the Arky wins!
Fighting Texas Aggies- I think the tu D will be pretty worn out by this time. Their depth is lacking. Their offense is horrible. I know rivalry but i think that we are better this year.

It probably will not happen but tu might not win another game.

We can't go into Austin with a must-win scenario to make the playoffs. Just win one of the next two and we should be in regardless of the result in Austin. We are better than them, but anything can happen that night. LSU is very beatable, we just have to get over the mental part of it, thinking we can't win in Baton Rouge. Our team is certainly better. Missouri is a good team, with a less intimidating atmosphere. Would be absolutely incredible if we could win both, but that would be a tall order. Let's just get 1 and we are sitting pretty for the playoffs.

I have to believe our coverage was mainly a result of having to keep eyes on Green as he is such a threat in the run/scramble game. Something you don't worry about with Nussmeier.

We BTHO the weather, the pigs, and the refs. We are good. Pigs held with impunity, which allowed several big runs by Green and the back. LSU has no threats like pig.

Would that be a collapse of epic proportions to go from preseason No 1 to 7-5. Would love to see it. You have to wonder what Sark does for a QB next year.

While the Ags have taken a decent enough step to beating the teams they are supposed to, the big step is to be able to win the big time head on matchups. (Not upsets). LSU and Missouri are those two games (and Texas, but that's just different).

Go 50/50 on LSU and Missouri, win the games they are supposed to for the rest of the season. That's a huge step for the program.

I mean, it's technically correct that tu's defense kept them in the game, but they just gave up almost 400 yards to a bottom 20 CFB team and allowed a 78% completion rate from the SEC's worst passing offense. Not exactly elite.

Except for maybe Ohio State, what teams have played a complete game? Last time I checked, the most important metric is winning. We are doing that consistently and in different ways. We are the ONLY undefeated team in the SEC. Let that sink in. So the rest of the league must not be complete teams.

Right now, at least on paper, Mizzu worries me more than LSU because they have a mobile QB and a stud RB along with an above average D.
