No offense taken. Given the way they play, they are easy to forget!

In the current era of CFB, none of those programs are better positioned to win than A&M so not worried about Elko going anywhere.

My wife went there, so it's front of mind in our household.

I really thought Fickell was a great hire. One of my best friends is an Ohio state grad and was initially mad he didn't get the HC gig there. He also thought Wisconsin made a great hire. We were all wrong.

I assume that you meant Virginia Tech

Also, there's no way Lebby gets fired after only 2 years

If we take care of business next week, Kelly could be joining the list. I'm sure lsu can find another children's hospital to steal fron.

Me too. Thought it would take them to the next level. He's taken them to the outhouse as a program and not sure they can afford the $25m buyout so they may be stuck. Problem is if they don't do something , recruiting gets harder and fan apathy sets in so they can't just sit on their hands either.

Off topic but you from WI? Or from here and went up there? We spend a lot of time in Wisconsin. Love it up there. My in laws live in northern WI.

He got shut out at home in back-to-back weeks with 30+ point losses. They'd be crazy to keep him another year, I'd be shocked if he makes it past tomorrow

MSST is not firing their coach. It's questionable if Auburn has the money to fire Freeze.

I can see McGwire at Tech answering calls. They lost yesterday and he was really pissed the week before because of the two 15 yard penalties Tech got for throwing tortillas. And they wouldn't stop.

I got inlaws who are Baylor people and they dont think so. I know its anecdotal to rely on it. But the culture of the B12 in 2025 is not really that concerned with FB dominance, especially Baylor. In the Big 12, they know they will never really be a contender with tOSU or Bama. So if the conference has a standout team "cool."

Why I mentioned Baylor especially is that they are really a basketball school, and even worse a WBB school. You will see Ferrell arena packed for WBB. Its like those old UCONN Tennessee days. You will see 40,000 geriatrics go to a womens game and they are happy for Baylor because they have one program better than the rest.

The Big12 has some decent Men's basketball and baseball squads. But as for FB, its kinda just accepted the fate of the B12 being 2nd tiere.

This is silly. The path to the B12 title, and ultimately the playoffs is easier than it has ever been for the B12. I think the real issue is that Baylor doesn't have the resources to compete with the top teams in the B12 even with the departure of the big money teams.

MSST is not firing their coach and I will go even further and say I think they get their first SEC win this season next weekend, mainly because it's their only real chance for an SEC win this season and texas is bad bad.

Edit: Easy to forget since it happened in week 2, but state has a win against ASU.

The only game they haven't been competitive in was the one against the Ags.

BK is a leave on your own now or be fired next year type situation … so I'm curious

UF is all in on Lane currently being the no1 choice, but Lane also is the unnamed replacement for the LSU gig when it opens

Franklin I think ends up at Auburn if I had to guess

It's turned into a money game which stacks the deck against a small private school. Their fate was sealed when they got left behind in the conference realignment.. it's a little sad because they do have passionate fans.

Their demise should have occurred in the original Big12 alignment but for their political clout at the time. Nature healed.

(And they have money, just like SMU and TCU, it's possible for them to compete…. But likely not through a full playoff.)
