Hard one for me. I got a degree from there, but really the most liberal school in Texas. Hard for me to support those yahoos.
Or, I guess I should say us yahoos?
I spent some semesters there. Literally nothing "liberal/woke" about anything on campus there including the political science classes. Was exactly the same as A&M, except felt smaller. Maybe you mean the line of bars where you might see some oddly dressed hippies.
University of North Texas ranks 200 out of 257 schools in the 2026 College Free Speech Rankings with a score of 54, an F speech climate grade. Modest penalties tied to cancelled drag shows and the partial removal of artwork last year trimmed its score, and the university still earns a "yellow light" Spotlight rating while lacking both the Chicago Statement and an official commitment to institutional neutrality.

sips rank much better.
I was College of business - not too bad. Libereal Arts, Education, Music... I don't have the words to describe.
If you commuted into UNT for classes, easy to be oblivious to it. Live in Denton- well probably you would have a different opinion.
Denton is a liberal cesspool.
I've never seen so many girl with bull pierced noses
