Elko basically said it's for recruiting, last week on the radio hour. I believe he said we need to seem cool to teenage athletes, and I agree - although changes beyond uniforms would do more to make our brand be perceived as more cool.

I would like to see us go with the1940 ish uniform. Maroon helmet, white or maroon jersey, tan pants. There's a video floating around of a game at WSU featuring the uniform.

I seriously doubt uniforms make a difference, most schools do it now.

In my opinion if you do something too much it loses its effect. Our normal uniform looks better than both the alternates we've worn.

Alternate maroon with white jerseys, with white and maroon numerals, gray pants, maroon helmets with ol Sarge on them periodically.

I really did like the junction uniforms, but then seeing the Oklahoma throw backs last week, they're essentially the same uniforms. I do like the shoulder stripes on those, I think there could be a good happy medium so we don't look like an OU clone.
