Hate to say it, but Arch is not good. As in- he is bad. I'd start the other QB next week. The backup came in and zinged a 30 yard pass when Arch went out because his helmet came off. The backup looked better on one play than Arch looked the entire game.

Nobody on here knows who Mick Schumacher is. But that is an apt comparison.

The problem is, he is such a hype machine and big name that what should be an easy move will be a politically loaded bundle of dynamite.

You can just sit him and give the other guy a chance like you would with any other player.

Yep. Coach better be prepared to field phone calls from Archie, Peyton, Eli and a few other Mannings if he is going to rethink who his starter is. Phil Sims alone kept his weak son Chris Sims starting for tu. Four Mannings are greater than one Sims.

For sure he's a victim of the colitic orange hype machine. He will be chewed up and discarded by season's end. The Manning name is not royalty in the state of Texas, mind you.

He seems to consistently ball out on busted plays though. I suspect that that aspect of his game, based on the assumption that he could therefore handle routine situations (stable pockets), led to even further exaggeration of his potential.

I will always cherish the article where they said that analysts feared that the sip-tOSU game would be the most lopsided top 3 matchup in history. Talk about a chucklecow.

I watched most of it. He was serviceable and didn't do anything stupid this time. That was enough to win. He wasn't making amazing plays and they kept the calls simple, which was smart.

arch has been a huge disappointment but sark isnt doing him any favors. the offense he is calling doesn't maximize arch's few talents.

They called easy passes with high completion percentages. He did hit a few pretty throws, but the vast majority were dink and dunk.

He had choice starting position all day plus 3 OU turnovers and managed to put up 166 yards. I don't care what your completion percentage is you aren't attempting anything difficult or down the field. The offense also only put up 17 points with OU doing nothing all game and giving the ball away 3 times. He's going to show his hype at some point this season and it'll be glorious.

Eff the Rangers but I think you guys should let Schumaker manage at least one game before you start comparing him to a loser like Arch.

NO, HE WON'T; he'll be comparable to Eli.

HOWEVER, as a NFL GM, I'd still draft him because while the Manning kids never experienced the ultimate collegiate success (Natty &/or Heisman), they've shown an ability to do well in the NFL.

So, stop your goaltending; you may have a crush on Arch, & that's fine, but your justification should be what he will do in the NFL rather his 3 years in t.u.'s system thus far.

Well if he can't get settled when he's pressured, he won't do much in the NFL.
