The point of yell leaders… was to make fun of fish doing stupid stuff for upper class humor. So, yell leaders in their current form has evolved. As most traditions have.

Understand and respect traditions. But also realize the whole point is just to have fun.

We are ashamed and embarrassed by Yell Leaders because society has shifted and every little thing is scrutinized by idiots having to record everything on their phones and publicly criticize every behavior, for ****s, giggles, and likes/upvotes, when if their own lives came under scrutiny they would most likely have a greater degree of shame than those they are making fun of.

That college students are getting so much flak for harmless, innocent behavior is absurd when at the same time we have watched ungrateful students literally attempting to destroy history and tradition.

Go back to motions of the Yell Leaders of the 90s. Seems like the new motions are a little over the top and a bit too dainty or something. I can't pin point it. Seems like too much pirouette type stuff. Slow it down.

Why is it embarrassing to embrace a tradition? This is a tradition that is not going to change, ever, so complaining about it is dumb. Who cares what other schools/fans think? These kids are outstanding representatives of our school. Quit ****ting on them.

It's not the tradition. It's these particular yell leaders' (and to be fair, all of the rest over the last ten years or so) actions and mannerisms that make literally everyone who watches them cringe. I don't know why they are so flamboyant and devoid of any sense of masculinity, but I don't believe that they are a good representation of A&M. Most men who graduated from A&M don't provocatively flail around and dance to tik tok videos to the embarrassment of all that they are associated with. As such, I'm not sure why you think they are "representative" of our school. I am an Aggie too, just like you. You don't own the school and your opinion carries no more weight than mine does.
