How are we feeling about this one? Aggies are 12.5 point favorites right now which seems a bit high. Miss St. is 4-1 and just suffered their first loss to Tennessee in overtime 41-34.

I would load up on Miss St at that line. Too many points. But, I also lose about 80-85% of the time when I gamble (which is why I don't do it), so taking the opposite is almost a sure thing.

if we can overcome our toughest opponent/ ourselves we can beat a lot of teams by double digits. who knows if that will happen this week or not.

If our defense plays like it did yesterday we will have 6-8 sacks on Shapen.

Line makes sense to me. A&M appears ready to explode and Miss St is gonna have a hard time regrouping after that loss. Kyle Field is NOT where they want to play next week.

Beating them by 2 scores seems very likely.

Is it possible this team is different and that Elko, after decades of different coaches, has the team taking affirmative steps to enter upper echelon of teams where they win not only the games they are supposed to, but their fair share of headline big time matchups when both teams are highly touted, maybe.

Guess we will find out. But, forgive me if I don't blindly chug the koolaid.

we have been 4-0 before and imploded repeatedly in October and November. I'm enjoying the wins but also know this is the beginning not the end…

Too much.

State is no slouch this year. They are a dangerous team. We better be ready to play.

If we play a clean game we might win by 30.

We haven't gotten close to playing a clean game, so this one is probably a one score contest deep into the 4th

Yet you just brought up 3 major factors that give a person skepticism of why we should be cautiously optimistic.

Too many points. 7.5 more realistic as of today.

State hasn't played outside of Mississippi this year. Their first real road game will be at Kyle Field at night. They were just deflated with that OT loss vs UT. I think the line is about right.

Have we learned nothing over the last 10 years or more? The Aggies playing at home as a ranked favorite almost never, if ever, cover the spread. And yesterday was another example: -6 1/2 and they could not manage it. Explain however you want in terms of what happened yesterday, but it remains that they did not cover the spread.

But what do I know? I took the over yesterday and got creamed.

Have we won the over in any game yet this season? 12.5 is way too much sadly. But please prove me wrong team.

Smells like a trap game. Is our defense actually good, or was Auburn's oline bad which allowed the sacks? This game scares me, especially if we cannot complete passes or if we continue to get a lot of penalties.

It's shear stupidity. There's zero intelligent reason to be a fan with this mindset. The entire point is entertainment.

As ugly as the Auburn game was, a lot of predictive metrics are going to like us for it. We dominated statistically against a team that went to to toe with OU and beat a decent Baylor.

We left a lot of points on the field. Generally outliers like that return to the norm (good or bad), and if we play like we did this week but actually convert then a 14 point win makes a lot of sense.

That said, we will see. It shouldn't be taken for granted.

Night game? Black out game? Pretty confident of an A&M win though 11.5 is a lot of points. Which of course is why the Vegas folks set that line. They are not going to set a line that is 'easy money'.

Yessir.. it's so dam frustrating to see all these "fans" still doubting what we have going! I mean I get that this is a message board and we will talk on all things good and bad but at the moment all things are pretty dam good! Support this team !!!
